P. NAMGYAL AJITA INDIA Ajita is President of the Won-Buddhist Charitable Society in India. An ordained Won-Buddhist reverend, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Won-Buddhism from Won-kwang University and a Master of Arts in Won-Buddhism from the Graduate School of Won-Buddhism, both in Korea. He also earned a Master of Philosophy from the University of Delhi. In India, he served as a reverend at the Delhi temple of Won-Buddhism and also taught Korean at Jawaharlal Nehru University and the University of Delhi. His interests include gender equality, the environment, and how Won-Buddhism can help develop a peaceful and prosperous community. He seeks to integrate Won-Buddhist teachings with multicultural leadership in order to motivate and inspire his community to strive for the greater good |

NEW ZEALAND Marianne is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand based in Christchurch, and is experienced in employment law, health and safety law, and family law. She also serves as a Communications Coordinator at Youth Beyond Disasters. She was an integral member of the Student Volunteer Army, which mobilized students following the Christchurch earthquakes of 2010–2011. Ms. Dutkiewicz earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury, and is passionate about integrating her knowledge of law with opportunities to empower communities. She is committed to developing her leadership skills and diversifying her network with future leaders of the Asia Pacific region, with the ultimate aim of assisting her community. |

UNITED STATES Zelda is a polling analyst from Lānaʻi City, Hawai‘i. With years of experience working in politics, she has played a role in successful voter contact campaigns for ballot initiatives, nonprofits, and candidates at every level, from presidential to the local level. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, during which she traveled throughout Asia, with a focus in Japan. Zelda has been a dedicated community volunteer since childhood, and she is excited to discover new community initiatives in Southeast Asia with the East-West Center. |

MYANMAR Htet is the Senior Technical Officer in the Shae Thot Program at Pact, an organization devoted to implementing health, livelihood, community development, microfinance, and food security programs in Myanmar. He earned a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Medicine, Yangon, and has served in various programs focused on raising health awareness and empowering youth. Additionally, Mr. Htet has collaborated with organizations such as the Karenni Mobile Health Clinic to deliver healthcare services in underprivileged villages. He is deeply committed to serving the public interest and working with underserved clients with his medical knowledge and his evolving leadership abilities. |
